Yes. Get the auth code (sometimes called an EPP or transfer code) from your current registrar, start a transfer with us and we take it from there. Your site and email keep working throughout - we copy your existing DNS records across before the transfer completes.
We email you before we bill, not after. Auto-renew is on by default so nothing lapses by accident, but you can switch it off per domain at any time from your dashboard.
Yes. It is registered in your name as the legal registrant, not ours. If you ever want to move it elsewhere we will give you the auth code - we do not hold domains hostage.
No. Plenty of clients register domains with us and host elsewhere, and that is completely fine. Hosting is there if you want the whole thing handled in one place.
